Electrician Workshop Technician Permanent Position Day shift hours Immediate start available Epping location The Company Australia Wide Trades Recruitment is seeking an A grade electrical technician to join our client, a global group. They are the energy industry leader in custom-built extreme ambient climate control systems for Zone 1 hazardous area applications. This role is workshop based in a newly built premise in Epping and offers growth opportunities. The position requirements include but are not limited to: Read and apply technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to complete builds accurately, while performing quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards. Identify, troubleshoot, and promptly escalate any design, assembly, or safety issues to the Workshop Coordinator. Maintain workshop tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition and strictly follow workplace safety standards and company policies. Collaborate closely with technicians and engineers to meet production deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop. To be considered for this role you should possess the following: Qualified A Grade Electrician, valid licence Either domestic, commercial or industrial background encouraged to apply Relevant technical training in refrigeration/HVAC, electrical, or mechanical assembly, with strong HVAC system knowledge desirable Minimum 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in a workshop or production environment, preferably within refrigeration or HVAC desirable Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of relevant HVAC, electrical, and mechanical safety standards; forklift, EWP, or other workshop tickets desirable but not essential.
