**OVERVIEW**
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced PDMS Support and Training Officer to join their team at the APS5 level. Within this role you will assist with PDMS maintenance and training and the development of templates.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provision of day-to-day business and technical administration support to the department and the portfolio offices in relation to PDMS and administration of all configurations.
- Resolution management of system issues.
- Assist with the coordination and/or delivery of group and individual training to departmental officers and staff in the use of PDMS, including development of relevant training materials.
- Undertake and coordinate with end users and business areas, user acceptance testing for upgrades and new modules.
- Preparation of statistics, PDMS views and/or reports as requested.
- Management of the PDMS mailbox.
- Contribute to strategic planning and development of PDMS within the department.
- Assistance with day-to-day operations of the Support Team as required.
**EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience and achieve results.
- Ability to work under pressure in a quick-moving environment where deadlines are tight.
- Attention to detail.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
- Experience in the administration, management and support of PDMS.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Sound client service and relationship management skills that facilitate cooperation and partnerships.
- Sound judgement and the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
