Senior Contracts Administrator
Join a dynamic team of construction professionals working on a range of projects in the region.
* Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules
* Assist with progress claims and external variations
* Review, negotiate and finalize subcontracts
* Manage and track project expenditure including subcontractor claims
* Administer RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
* Administer the project HSE system
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract administration: Assist with contract preparation, review and negotiation
* Subcontract management: Manage subcontractor relationships, scope development and claim resolution
* Expenditure management: Track and manage project expenditure including subcontractor claims
* Communication: Facilitate communication between stakeholders including clients, architects and consultants
* HSE administration: Administer the project HSE system
Requirements:
* Education: Industry relevant degree qualification
* Skills: Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set
* Experience: Experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects; demonstrated experience leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
* Qualifications: Familiarity with Contract Law principals & construction specific Acts, codes and Regulations
* Personal Qualities: Confident & collaborative communicator; self-motivated and able to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
