Overview
Avani Broadbeach Residences is expanding its housekeeping department, and we are looking for part‐time housekeeping staff.
Responsibilities
* Maintain high cleaning standards in guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
* Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the allotted hours.
* Collaborate with teammates to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
* Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
* Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
* Build professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to foster a positive work workplace.
Shift Details
Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday, with shifts starting between 8:00am and 9:00am. Hourly rates: Monday‐Friday $XXXXX, Saturday $XXXXX, Sunday $XXXXX.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
* Basic understanding of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
* Valuable physical fitness and stamina, ability to perform repetitive tasks (bending, lifting, standing).
* Professional and clear communication skills for interacting with guests, teammates, and contractors.
* Robust time‐management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
