Job Title
The Coordinator Fleet will oversee the management of a diverse fleet of vehicles, plant, equipment, and inventory to ensure teams have the necessary resources to deliver infrastructure and community services.
* Lead the Fleet & Stores Unit to achieve strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
* Ensure efficient operational management of city assets to maximise value and service delivery.
* Provide expert advice on fleet and inventory matters, including policy development and review.
* Oversee asset and inventory management for accurate records, efficient turnover, best value purchasing, and compliance with standards.
* Manage maintenance, repair, procurement, and replacement programs to optimise fleet performance and minimise downtime.
* Prioritise safety, customer satisfaction, and risk management in line with standards and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
* Extensive experience in fleet management.
* Formal qualification in Fleet Management or Business Management.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
* Working knowledge of legislation and regulations applicable to vehicle design, construction, and maintenance.
* Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation relevant to fleet operation and maintenance.
* Effective procurement processes, contract management, and administration practices.
