Richemont, one of the world leaders in the luxury sector, is looking for an experienced Deputy Boutique Manager in Melbourne. This key partner to the Boutique Manager will help shape the boutique’s success by supporting leadership, driving commercial performance, and ensuring the highest standards of client experience and operational excellence.
What you’ll do
* Team Management & People Development: Support the Boutique Manager in coaching, motivating, and developing the team; participate in recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
* Client Experience: Lead by example on the boutique floor, engaging with clients and inspiring the team to create exceptional experiences.
* Operational Excellence & Compliance: Ensure day‑to‑day operations run smoothly; oversee stock management, audit preparation, and maintain impeccable boutique presentation.
* Client Relationship & Portfolio Development: Support clienteling initiatives, strengthen long‑term relationships with key clients, represent Cartier during client events.
What we’re looking for
* A minimum of 5 years previous experience in retail management.
* The ability to inspire and support a team, fostering a collaborative and client‑first culture.
* Strong commercial awareness and a track record of contributing to sales performance and service excellence.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Agility and resilience to excel in a dynamic luxury retail environment while upholding operational standards.
* An appreciation for Cartier’s heritage and craftsmanship, paired with deep product knowledge and curiosity.
* Fluency in English and the local language; a third language is an advantage.
