Asset & Overlay Manager

Location: Tamworth, NSW

The Australian Equine & Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is one of the most unique event complexes in Australia, attracting a diverse range of world class and national events. It is a major contributor to the economic development and strength of our Region with opportunities to expand the commercial and tourism prospects of this incredible facility.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

Step into a key leadership role where you'll shape the success of this world class events venue, coordinating asset lifecycle planning, inspections and preventative infrastructure maintenance through to contractor oversight, compliance and capital renewals to keep the venue safe, reliable, cost effective and in peak condition year round to ensure the highest professional standard for users.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills, a strong background in infrastructure related project management, asset lifecycles and business case development, along with a sound understanding of how to use relevant software to track, maintain and report on physical assets.

The Asset & Overlay Manager Is Responsible For
* Liaising with customers to meet their needs
* Ensuring the facilities are in accordance with maintenance and building compliance and procedures
* Strategic planning with infrastructure development and relevant project development and or management
* Ensure operating standards are implemented and maintained including safety, environmental and quality (technical)
* Asset and renewal management
* Ensuring facility maintenance is consistently at a high standard

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
* Tertiary qualifications Project/Facility Management and/or Events or similar or equivalent relevant experience
* Infrastructure and Overlay Management experience
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Driver Licence
* Immunisations Hepatitis, Tetanus & Q Fever (or willingness to undergo)

Salary range: Grade 17 - $98,142.68 - $106,199.05 per annum plus 12% superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
