About The Role
The Lifestyle and Leisure Team Leader enhances resident wellbeing across Shepparton Villages by leading a dynamic Diversional Therapy program that promotes independence, social connection, and meaningful engagement. Working alongside this role, the Leisure and Lifestyle Officer deliver creative, person‑centered activities that support emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. Together, these positions help create a vibrant, inclusive environment where residents feel connected, supported, and empowered.
Essential Skills And Attributes (selection Criteria)
Designing and delivering a diverse range of engaging and meaningful activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents. Setting goals and overseeing the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of therapy programs, community events, and special occasions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including resident assessments, therapy plans, program evaluations, and activity records. Actively involving residents in the development and selection of activities to promote enjoyment, autonomy, and social connection. Managing Lifestyle and Leisure resources effectively to support program delivery and service quality. Contributing to resident care planning by providing informed input that reflects lifestyle needs and therapeutic goals.
