Job Opportunity: Service Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our workshop in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day work of the service team.
* You will act as the first point of contact for customer technical calls, providing expert advice and solutions to meet their needs.
* In this role, you will lead the workshop job flow and administration process, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between teams.
* Mentorship and training are essential parts of this role, where you will develop and grow the skills of technicians and apprentices, helping them to reach their full potential.
* A strong focus on building customer relationships is critical, identifying new service opportunities and driving business growth through exceptional customer experience.
Key requirements for this role include:
* A strong mechanical aptitude, preferably with trade qualifications in Diesel Mechanics.
* Previous experience in a service management or senior foreman position, ideally within an agricultural machinery dealership group.
* Exceptional customer-facing skills, coupled with an energetic and proactive attitude, are essential for success in this role.
* Proven leadership abilities, combined with excellent communication skills, will enable you to effectively manage and motivate your team.
* Familiarity with agricultural machinery is highly desirable, as is good computer literacy, particularly with experience in a DMS system.
