JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are seeking a driven and community-focused Assistant Community Manager to join our team and support the delivery of an exceptional resident experience in one of our thriving student accommodation properties in Canberra.
In this hands-on, rewarding role, you'll help lead the team by example and play a key part in building a positive, inclusive, and well-run community our residents truly enjoy being a part of.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Fosterstrongresidentrelationshipsbyhandlingqueries,feedback,andonlinereviewsprofessionally,whileenhancingsatisfactionthroughproactiveengagementandcommunityevents.
* Supporttenancymanagement,includinginspections,leaserenewals,rentcollection,arrearsmonitoring,andadherencetocompanypolicies.
* Contributetoleasingoperationsbyconductingpropertyviewings,respondingtoenquiries,andconvertingleadsintotenancies.
* Maintainpropertystandardsthroughregularwalk-throughs,vendorcoordination,invoiceoversight,andcollaborationwithfinanceandfacilitiesteams.
* Assistwithoperationalleadership,includingbudget/reportpreparationandsteppinginasActingCommunityManagertoensureseamlesssiteperformance.

Tosucceedinthisrole,you'llbringastrongbackgroundincustomerservice,ideallyfromresidentialpropertyorhospitality,pairedwithconfidenceinmanagingtenantrelationsandresolvingissues.You'llthriveinafast-pacedenvironment,demonstrateculturalawarenesswhenengagingwithdiversestudentcommunities,andpossessasoundunderstandingoftenancylegislationandpropertyoperations.Youwillbeanexcellentcommunicator,whomisorganisedandsolution-oriented.
Keyrequirements:
* ProficiencyinMicrosoftOfficeandpropertymanagementsystems.
* RealEstatelicensevalidforACT.
* Validdriver'slicense,andtheabilitytoobtainafavourableNationalCriminalHistoryCheckandWorkingwithChildrenCheck.
