About the Role:
This role is designed to support the development of culturally sensitive programs and initiatives that meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of program development and delivery, with a particular focus on effective practice and culturally appropriate services.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship building, with a particular focus on the Aboriginal community. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with the Aboriginal community and key stakeholders to successfully deliver programs.
* Assist Directors and Managers in addressing the drivers of over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in custody.
