The Area Manager plays a pivotal role in leading a team to deliver high-quality employment services, driving commercial returns while supporting diverse participants achieve their goals. The successful candidate will oversee multiple sites, building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and adapting service approaches to meet local needs.
About the Role
* Provide impactful leadership aligned to strategic plans, empowering team performance and productivity.
* Oversee multiple sites across the region, ensuring all locations are well-supported through travel.
* Maintain a deep understanding of local caseloads, employment trends, and social requirements, fostering relationships with employers, services, schools, and training providers.
* Adapt servicing to local circumstances, innovating within evidence-based frameworks where participant and employer voices are paramount.
* Ensure compliance with National Standards for Disability, ISO accreditation, and other quality initiatives.
* Develop team members' skills through training, coaching, and oversight, consistently providing best possible servicing.
* Participate in performance appraisals and foster effective communication for staff retention, development, feedback, and recognition.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Employment Services, Community Services, or relevant areas are desirable.
* Experience in leading or delivering employment services, including barrier management, reverse marketing, placement, and post-placement support, is essential.
* Day-to-day management and coordination of effective teams are necessary skills.
* A strong ability to problem-solve and communicate with various stakeholders is required.
* Demonstrated experience in achieving business targets and KPIs is crucial.
* A valid Driver's license is necessary for regional travel.
