About the role
Cardio Thoracic Unit/Coronary Care Unit is currently seeking experienced qualified Clinical Nurse to join their team. This position is being offered on a Permanent Part Time basis 64-hour fortnight. Ideally, we are seeking an individual who is comfortable with permanent night shifts.
The CCU/CTU is a 40-bed unit (8 dedicated Coronary Care beds), providing a high level of care for acutely ill and chronic cardiovascular/cardiothoracic patients, catering for elective and emergency admissions. Offering a wide variety of cardiac services to the community the team strives for excellence in customer care and best practice.
Salary range: $52.63 - $56.38 (RN2) per hour plus superannuation and NFP salary packaging up to $15,900
What you’ll be doing
As a Clinical Nurse you will provide a high standard of nursing within the critical care environment, with particular consideration to the patient's physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
This will be achieved by providing clinical expertise, direct support and education to staff within the department, with a clear focus on the patient experience and quality of services.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
2. Relevant post graduate qualification
3. Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate patient care and competency in clinical problem solving
4. Available to work across all shifts
5. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a cardiac environment
6. Leadership experience desirable
7. Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communications and the ability to maintain accurate clinical and assessment data
