Financial Analyst Job Description

1. Monthly Accounting Processing: Accurately process monthly transactional accounting, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established procedures.
2. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including follow-up with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items.
3. Capital Asset Management: Record additions and disposals of capital assets on fixed asset registers, maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Transactional Banking: Manage transactional banking in accordance with group policies and procedures, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
5. Consolidated Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial reports for both management and statutory accounts, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
6. Credit Card Administration: Oversee credit card administration, ensuring responsible use and adherence to company policies.
7. Cash Flow Forecasting: Participate in cash flow forecasting, analyzing trends and making informed decisions to optimize financial performance.
8. Strategic Decision Making: Contribute to strategic decision-making and analysis, leveraging financial expertise to drive business growth.
9. Process Improvement: Collaborate in process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
10. Audit Support: Assist during external and internal audits, providing accurate information and supporting the audit process.
To excel in this role, you will require a degree qualification, a commitment to complete a CA/CPA qualification within the three-year contract, and the ability to quickly grasp and understand customer needs.
