About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as an Occupational Therapist. You will have the chance to work with participants from diverse backgrounds and ages, assessing their developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
You will interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help them enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Assess and plan individualized support for participants
* Develop and implement intervention programs to promote independence and participation
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, plans and progress
* Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other health professionals
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
