This software platform is easily customisable with accuracy and superfast turnaround, so can be adapted to any law firm's or in house team's internal processes with expedience. The team are seeking a PI Lawyer with deep expertise on the Plaintiff side, to transition to a Legal Engineer role in Legal Technology / Automation / AI, working directly with clients and the internal sales and development teams. You are a PI lawyer, within a top tier or specialist firm, and possess deep knowledge of processes in the PI, plaintiff side. typically involved in running complex, high-value litigation files. You will be eager to apply this experience and your passion for innovation, technology and AI in new ways. There is also the potential to continue practicing as the Tech start up is connected to a busy law firm. You are naturally curious and happy to apply this knowledge and ask pertinent questions to understand their specific workflows and uncover bottlenecks, pain points and customise requirements. As the subject matter expert to clients, you will define run pilots, focus on seamless onboarding and guide the ongoing adoption of the solution. Your role will help drive the adoption, utilization, and long-term expansion of this incredible, new-to-market automation solution, powered by AI. About the Role: Build trusted, long term relationships as the Legal Engineer / SME with law firms in PI, Plaintiff side. Define, design and translate PI legal workflows for Plaintiff side into actionable product feedback Manage pilots, design tailored onboarding programs for clients and ensure regular cadence, engagement and adoption of the platform. Facilitate feedback loops with engineers to improve platform accuracy and usability. Identify patterns in daily legal tasks to determine which processes can be optimized or automated. Work closely with Sales/ Pre-sales, Customer Success Lead and Product team to maximize platform value, adoption, customer experience and the renewal process. About You: 5-8 years PQE in a law firm Deep expertise in PI law from the Plaintiff side. Based in Sydney or willing to move to Sydney Can demonstrate skills and passion for innovation in law. Familiar with the use of AI tools in your current role Ideally exposure in the roll out or adoption of legal tech / AI within legal teams Can thrive in a start up environment which is fast paced and sometimes ambiguous. Work hybrid from fantastic office near Circular Quay. This role comes with lawyer level salary, bonus and share options post probation.
