The Department of the House of Representatives seeks direct support to its members at Parliament House in Canberra.
This role supports the Procedural Development Section of the Procedure Office, providing procedural research, publications and services explaining the work of the House and its institutional role.

About the Role
The Director, Chamber Research leads a team within the Procedure Office, overseeing statistical records, routine publications, research support and secretariat duties.
Key Duties:
1. Manage the Chamber Research Office.
2. Support the Standing Committee on Procedure as Secretary.
3. Advise Members on parliamentary procedural matters.
4. Undertake Clerk-at-the-Table duties in the Chamber and Federation Chamber.
5. Represent the department and liaise with stakeholders.
