 
        
        Our client, a manufacturing organisation based in the Ipswich area, is seeking an IT Support/Help Desk Officer for a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Support/Help Desk Officer will be the first point of contact for all IT Helpdesk enquiries, and will be responsible for managing the enquiries to resolution.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Troubleshooting issues using remote support tools 
- Liaising with external stakeholders including vendors, suppliers, and customers 
- Building and deploying IT desktops, printers and ancillary hardware and software 
- Installing and configuring computer hardware 
- Microsoft 365 user management, configuration and troubleshooting 
- IP network addressing and services 
- Other IT-related duties as required
Applicants for this role should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology or Networking 
- An understanding of networking technologies 
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft products 
- The ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues 
- HIgh-level interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
