Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent performance within the Health & Safety department of the business. You will evaluate and gain approval for safety and training budgets, offering strategic guidance and generating necessary reports for the entire organization and Management Team. This includes adapting existing processes to harmonize with the new business model, while adhering to ISO certification standards. Effective communication through written reports to Senior Management is a key aspect of this role. Your duties also encompass elevating and executing enhancements to the current Safety Management System.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant Health, Safety & Setting tertiary or equivalent
- Cert IV Training and Assessment
- ICAM Investigation qualifications
- Lead Auditor Qualifications
- NSW General Construction Induction (white card)
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Senior First Aid Certificate
Skills & Experience
- 6-8 Years Construction industry experience
- Project Management experience/qualifications
- Experience with Federal Safety Certification/Accredited (desirable)
- State Road Authority project experience incl understanding of specification
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, 4801 and 140001
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
