New possibilities await a talented and accomplished Clinical Nurse - Recovery/PACU to join the Operating Theatre on a full-time basis at a private hospital in Brisbane.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards;
* Supporting and liaising with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff, and VMO anaesthetist;
* Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN, and sterilization standards;
* Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Current AHPRA registration;
* Previous experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role, or have been practising in the role of anaesthetic nurse for more than 3-4 years in a team leader role;
* A relevant postgraduate qualification or being committed to commence within 12 months of appointment;
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
* Compliance with NSQHC National standards;
* Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
* Experience in a similar position (desired);
* Excellent communication and customer service skills;
* Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks.
