Plumber
Location: Craigieburn, Victoria

BGIS is seeking an experienced and adaptable Plumber to join our on-site facilities team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance while ensuring full compliance with contractual, safety, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance across the site
* Rotating on call roster to cover after hours and weekend breakdowns/call outs
* Inspect, test, maintain and repair TMV valves, RPZ valves, water systems and associated assets
* Repair and replace water, recirculation and sewer lines, plus plumbing fixtures
* Respond to emergency call-outs including leaks, blockages, gas odours and burst pipes
* Install new fixtures such as sinks, urinals, taps and related fittings
* Support maintenance of air handling units and assist the onsite trade team as required
* Liaise with Facilities Managers, Supervisors, clients and subcontractors to meet contract requirements
* Accurately complete helpdesk updates, reports and maintenance system data entry
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, BGIS systems and contractual KPIs
Qualifications
* Trade registered Plumber and/or Hydraulic Services qualification
* TMV and Backflow endorsements
* Relevant trade qualification (TAFE or equivalent)
* Tertiary qualification in building or facilities management (or related discipline)
* EWP Ticket
* Current Driver's Licence
Knowledge & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in building or facilities management environments, ideally within property or corporate real estate
* Proven ability to work within QA, WHS/OH&S and environmental management systems
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
* Experience preparing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and managing work tasks safely
* Ability to respond quickly to change and apply a flexible, practical approach to problem-solving
* Comfortable working in complex, operational environments with competing priorities
* HVAC and/or Variable Speed Drive (VSD) knowledge
