Actively greets members, verifies membership card, maintain entry/exit count records. Provides high level of member service and performs warehouse safety and security checks. Checks member receipts at exit and thanks member.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
Conduct hourly building safety and security checks
Walk the building and perimeter
Correct safety and security problems encountered, such as spills, trip hazards and blocked exits
Fill out reports and shows results to the duty manager
Attend warehouse safety meetings
Welcome members entering the warehouse
Approach, smiles, makes eye contact and greets
Verify membership card. Offers cart, removing rubbish if necessary to all members
Keep entrance/exit area clean.
Click a handheld counter to members entering and exiting the warehouse
Report half-hourly counts to Front End Supervisor and records counts on weekly reports
Monitor building access
Report arrival of armoured transport vehicle to duty manager
Discretely observe armoured deposit pickup, jewellery and register drawer set up and pick-up while holding panic button
Greet exiting member and check backpacks, lunch pails, briefcases, strollers, etc. at exit
Check accuracy and validity of member's receipts and compares to merchandise
Arrange speedy assistance for any member correction or concern
Deface receipt with hole puncher
Provide and arranges prompt and courteous member service
Directs members to product and service locations
Enlist assistance for loading, shopping, etc.
Dry off wet carts
Watch after hour exit door discretely from private vehicle and reports door area status by 2-way radio before doors can be opened for employees
Drive building perimeter for security checks
Watch closing managers leave
Reports suspicious activity to duty manger and calls policy if necessary
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
Counter, personal vehicle, trolley
Education/Training: High School certificate or higher
Licenses/Certifications: Responsible Service of Alcohol (state specific), drivers licence
