Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Casual Cleaner to join our Environmental Services team in Aged Care. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents in Korumburra, Victoria. As a Casual Cleaner, you will contribute to the overall well-being of our aged care facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld at all times.
This is a casual role with varying hours and average shift length around 5 hours covering staff absences and workload fluctuations. Shifts may involve weekend work from time to time and hours will be rostered ahead where possible.

Responsibilities:
* Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
* Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms
* Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
* Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with facility policies
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high standard of service
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a friendly disposition
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required
