STAR Scaffolds, a leading scaffolding company in South East Queensland, has been servicing many of the major building companies in the residential sector over many years. We offer a wide range of aluminium and steel safety systems.
An opportunity currently exists from our Head Office based in Kingston for a full-time Assistant Coordinator for our Steel Operations Department.
About The Role
With the growth happening in our Steel Department, we are looking for an experienced Office Administrator who will assist the Steel Department with scheduling and managing relationships with our sub-contractors and suppliers.
About You
You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about sustainable building practices. You want to make a meaningful impact in the industry.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects with strong organizational and planning skills.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, addressing their requirements.
Plan, oversee, monitor, and report on project progress.
Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Coordinate between sales representatives, contractors, and estimators to ensure effective project completion.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of the steel scaffolding/building industries.
High organizational skills, computer literacy, and excellent communication skills.
Leadership experience managing teams.
Ability to work under pressure.
