Position: Generalist Social Worker
Employer: Bendigo Advertiser (Healthcare division)
Location: Cessnock House, Cessnock District Hospital (CDH)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time, 38 hours/week
Monthly Supervision provided

Responsibilities
Provide psychosocial care across all wards within CDH, including Medical, Surgical and Emergency Departments.
Conduct psychosocial assessments, family meetings, complete guardianship applications and support NDIS responses.
Receive referrals via the Electronic Journey Board and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in monthly departmental meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Hold a bachelor degree in social work that grants eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated psychosocial assessment skills.
Independent working ability without direct supervision.
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the region for meetings.
Availability to join a weekend roster if required.
