About the role
FRS - Fortis Risk Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Broker / Team Leader to join our growing team in Box Hill, VIC. This full-time role will see you leading a team of insurance brokers, providing expert advice and tailored risk management solutions to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Manage and mentor a team of insurance brokers to ensure exceptional customer service and successful outcomes for clients
Develop and implement effective strategies to grow the book of business and drive revenue
Analyse client needs and design comprehensive insurance programs to mitigate risk
Negotiate with insurance providers to secure the most favourable terms and conditions for clients
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
Foster strong relationships with clients and provide proactive, strategic advice
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to expand client portfolios
Contribute to the overall success and growth of the FRS - Fortis Risk Solutions Pty Ltd business
What we're looking for
6+ years experience as an insurance broker, with a proven track record of success
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of insurance professionals
Comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent negotiation, communication and client relationship management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify tailored risk management solutions
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. insurance, finance, business) or equivalent experience
Relevant insurance qualifications and/or licences (e.g. ASIC RG146, ANZIIF)
English and Mandarin bilingual skills
