Culinary Professional Opportunity
As a culinary professional, you will play a vital role in our kitchen team at Karingal Community in Devonport, Tasmania.
The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare meals that cater to individual nutritional needs and preferences while adhering to Food Safety Program guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the production of food items, including therapeutic diets and special meals.
* Prepare menus according to defined recipes using recipe cards.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure compliance with Food Safety Program standards.
* Manage inventory effectively and maintain high standards of food handling practices.
* Deliver meals to dining areas and provide support to the retail café area or for functions and events.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess relevant industry training, commercial cookery certifications, and previous experience in catering within a residential aged care facility.
