Our client offers innovative products and services in asset management, alternative investment, corporate finance, capital markets, securities, and wealth management.We are seeking to appoint two equites research associates across two different sectors being Gaming, Transport & Infrastructure and Industrials.As an associate equity analyst you will be responsible for supporting lead coverage of the various companies within your sector team within the Australian listed market. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining financial models, and assisting with various company and industry analysis and research. We encourage those applicants to apply with 1-5years experience ideally with a strong background in financial accounting, valuation and modelling. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. We are working on multiple hires and so we are open to applicants from various sectors within equities research also.Candidates who have a combination of the following skillsets are encouraged to apply;Bachelor’s degree or above in Business (Commerce/Accounting/Finance), with 1-5 years’ experience ideally coming from (big 4 consultancy or sell side)CFA designation would be viewed favourablyStrong interpersonal skills to engage that allow strong communication and relationship building with colleagues and clients at all levelsPassion for equities marketsAccounting qualifications such as CA or CFA seen as desirableThis presents as an excellent opportunity to move into Australian equities and provides a strong platform for career development.
