Life Activities Club Geelong Inc. (LACG) is a not for profit incorporated organisation, seeking a secretary for its Committee of Management, effective from its upcoming Annual General Meeting. This would ideally suit someone who would like to get involved with our club and the activities we offer, who would also be keen to put their organisational skills to good use on the committee of management
We are looking for someone who is comfortable using a computer, has experience in administration or has previously undertaken a similar role & is willing to learn the operational aspects of the club with support from current committee members.
Key tasks include:
•Convene and attend all meetings
• Maintain & distribute minutes and develop an agenda for all meetings
•Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
•Ensure notices & notification are distributed to members through various methods and in a timely manner, including managing the clubroom notice board
•Provide information and periodical reports to Life Activities Club Victoria
•Support event convenors with the design and printing of function notices
•Maintain information packs for new club member and new committee members
