Job Description:
The Supportability Engineering Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of IPS elements throughout the system design, production, and deployment phases.
This individual will be responsible for planning and leading a team to achieve supportability goals, working closely with Mission System design/engineering and Project Management teams.
* Acts as the primary contact for Supportability Engineering, coordinating with customers, project functions, and subcontractors.
* Works closely with stakeholders to meet supportability objectives.
* Defines Supportability Engineering System Requirements based on various plans and specifications, guiding the IRMTP to achieve RAM objectives and combat readiness.
* Aligns with Hanwha Defence Australia's Support System/Sustainment Strategy for the Australian market.
* Directs LSA requirements for planning Operating and Support capabilities, considering new constructions and modifications.
* Manages Supportability Engineering across the project, covering RAM, standardization, interoperability, risk and safety, privacy, and legal requirements.
* Supervises or advises on RAM Analysis, including Reliability Block Diagrams, RAM Prediction, FMECA, and RCM Analysis.
* Guides LSA and recording activities, including LORA, task analysis, and spares provisioning.
* Coordinates between Design Engineering and other project parties.
* Oversees the development and maintenance of the System Life Cycle Cost Model (LCCM) as per the Life Cycle Management Plan (LCCMP).
* Supervises Systems Engineering input for Configuration Management Baseline and Engineering Change activities, optimizing supportability and participating in Engineering Change Review Boards.
Mandatory Qualifications:
* Relevant IPS qualifications combined with extensive experience.
* Tertiary qualifications in Supportability Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or similar.
