Junior Accountants joining the firm will benefit from mentoring from experienced accountants, structured professional development and exposure to a diverse client base, all within a supportive, team‐focused culture.
The Role:
* Work alongside experienced accountants and partners, gaining hands‐on exposure to accounting, taxation and business advisory services across multiple industries;
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies;
* Complete end‐of‐year journals and reconciliations;
* Support senior accountants with client assignments and workflow;
* Communicate with clients to gather information and respond to routine enquiries;
* Maintain accurate time recording and meet internal deadlines.
About You:
* Recently completed or nearing completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline;
* Strong interest in building a career in public practice accounting;
* Good written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Xero or MYOB is a plus;
* Foundational knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
