Responsibilities
* Maintain a high standard of claims assessment through accurate, efficient and timely processing of medical claims.
* Provide advice and assistance to health service providers regarding benefits and conditions of the fund.
* Contribute to the effective operations of the Health Insurance Business Unit.
* Accurately assess simplified billing claims through the verification process and ECLIPSE system.
* Compliance with relevant legislation, including the Federal and State Acts.
* Correspond with providers via e‐mail, telephone or hard copy mail.
Qualifications
* Previous claims experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Experience in PHI is highly desirable but not essential.
* Experience working in the medical industry would be advantageous.
* Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail while managing repetitive or high‐volume workloads.
* Previous HAMBS experience would be highly regarded.
* Data entry experience would be highly regarded.
* A positive can‐do attitude is a MUST!
* We require you to be either a Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen.
Salary
The salary package for this role is $92,902 (inclusive of super).
