About this role:Our client is seeking a First Nations candidate with strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience in writing Government advice. In this role, you will provide technical advice and apply your expertise to support First Nations people with disabilities. You will also contribute to administrative tasks and deliver project support to ensure successful outcomes.
Strong cultural competency, respect for First Nations protocols, and the ability to engage confidently with First Nations are essential.
*Key responsibilities and capabilities:*
* Development of strong stakeholder relationships with Independent Advisory Council and reference group members
* Coordination, preparation and distribution of meeting papers consistent with the terms of reference requirements.
* Ensuring all papers are in plain English and accessible to people with a disability.
* Managing meeting logistics, including attendance and travel and ensuring that the cultural and disability support needs of persons are met.
* Ensuring that a complete and final set of meeting papers are maintained.
* Attending online and hybrid meetings to ensure the meeting runs smoothly.
* Management of minutes and action logs.
* Assisting with the development and maintenance of governance policies, procedures and guidance documents.
