Clinical Centre Manager Role
This position requires a skilled and experienced leader to oversee the clinical services of our headspace centres, ensuring high-quality care and effective service delivery.
Job Description:
The Clinical Centre Manager plays a pivotal role in driving excellence in mental health care for young people. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering clinical services, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
* Oversee the coordination and delivery of clinical services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
* Maintain expertise in clinical governance, policy development, and risk management.
* Collaborate with Senior Clinical Advisor and Manager – Child and Youth Mental Health Services to drive service excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Partner with Clinical Educator to provide clinical leadership, consultation, and supervision to staff, allied health professionals, and students.
* Develop and implement strategies to promote centre vision, build stakeholder relationships, and represent the service across the community.
* Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, quality improvement, and management of feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* An approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology, or occupational therapy, with demonstrated management experience.
* Demonstrated experience working in a leadership role in mental health services, preferably in youth mental health.
* Advanced clinical skills and experience in complex clinical triage, assessment, and allocation of referrals.
* Proven ability in leading multidisciplinary teams, including provision of clinical supervision and facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with advanced computer skills and proficiency in data management tools.
