Obstetric and Gynaecology Consultant
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology to join our dynamic team at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, part of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled physician with specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary care and the ability to lead and inspire a clinical team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, evidence-based medical services while contributing to the education and supervision of junior medical staff. They will also play a key role in shaping clinical practices, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting the hospital's commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist obstetric and gynaecological services, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and general gynaecology care.
* Supervise and support junior medical staff, midwives, and nursing teams.
* Participate in teaching, training, audit, and clinical governance activities.
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement projects.

Requirements
