Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled workers to join our infrastructure maintenance team in regional NSW. The successful candidates will operate a variety of plant and equipment, working within a supportive team committed to maintaining high safety and operational standards.
Job Description:
This role is integral to the safe and efficient delivery of road construction, repair, and maintenance works across the network. You'll be operating a range of plant and machinery including rollers, graders, excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
Responsibilities include performing road maintenance, earthworks, drainage, and general civil construction activities, supporting traffic management and site safety setups as required, conducting pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and ensuring equipment is in safe working condition, and assisting with manual labour tasks such as hand tools and materials handling when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience operating heavy earthmoving plant and equipment within civil, road maintenance, or construction environments.
* Proven ability to work safely in remote or regional project settings.
* Current driver's licence (mandatory).
* Relevant plant operating and machinery tickets – MR / HR truck licence and traffic control ticket highly desirable (not a must).
