About the Role
WorkPac is currently seeking a Fire Systems Program Specialist to join Rio Tinto in Perth. You will be joining a high performing team, to provide subject matter advice on Fire System asset management to ensure safe, cost effective and reliable asset operation. This role is available on a Monday to Friday roster, for an initial 6 month duration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing specialised technical discipline support to maintenance, operations, project and commercial teams
2. Ownership and governance of discipline specific asset tactics and strategies
3. Reviewing Management of Change, changes to maintenance systems and tactics
4. Lead the development of a 5-year sustaining capital plan driven by risk
5. Support implementation of parts supply contract and maintenance labour service contract
6. Identifying improvement opportunities within asset reliability, asset management systems and processes
7. Coaching, mentoring and training to build capability within Sites and other team members
Skills & Experience Required:
* Engineering, Business, finance, or related degree
* Experience in SAP
* Knowledge in Fire Systems, asset maintenance, Work Management process, master data, planning/scheduling or experience in CRA will be well regarded
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with sound written communication skills
* Demonstrated experience in contractor management
* Problem solving skills and analytical capacity
* Demonstrated business improvement capability
* Valid C Class Driver's Licence
