: Part-time, 30.4 hours per fortnight.

: Complementary Therapies Worker Grade 3 (IN36).
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialised oncology massage therapy tailored to individual patients' needs and treatment stages.
Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
Support patients' physical and emotional wellbeing by helping to reduce treatment side effects and improve quality of life.
Assess and monitor patient responses, adapting techniques to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Educate patients about the benefits of massage as part of supportive cancer care.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
Contribute to quality improvement, research, and service development initiatives within the Integrative Oncology and Wellness Centre.

You demonstrate sound clinical judgement, an understanding of the unique needs of oncology patients, and a commitment to delivering safe and effective massage therapy in line with current guidelines and best practice. Qualifications and Experience Required
Relevant qualification from an accredited training organisation (e.g., Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy or Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy).
Completion of Modules 1–4 of Oncology Massage Training through Oncology Massage Training (OMT) or equivalent recognised training/experience in oncology massage.
Current membership with a relevant professional association (e.g., Massage & Myotherapy Australia, Australian Association of Massage Therapists, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in therapeutic massage, including experience in hospital or community health settings.
Experience in oncology, palliative, or supportive care is desirable.
Strong communication skills and experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
