**FRANCHISE STRATEGY MANAGER - SOUTH**:
**LOCATION**:North Sydney, AUSTRALIA OR Auckland, NEW ZEALAND**:
**The Franchise Strategy Manager is responsible for supporting and challenging the South Franchise Unit in implementing the System's growth strategy within the context of the local markets (Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands). While this remit of this role is the South cluster markets, reporting into the Franchise Strategy Senior Manager for South, it sits within the ASP Strategy team providing exposure to the wider OU network and the opportunity to learn from / collaborate with other markets.**:
**What You'll Do for Us**:
- ** Lead market-specific strategic projects (~50% of time allocated)**:The dynamic and fast-paced nature of the CPG industry means that our business must constantly adapt to confront ever-evolving challenges. These challenges vary widely and are often complex in nature, requiring **understanding of a broader set of issues with input from multiple business functions and stakeholders.** This role is responsible for structuring a coordinated approach to integrate diverse business insights to solve for key business challenges. To do this, you will**:
- ** 'Set the agenda' by developing detailed project plans, clearly framing the problem to be solved and outlining objectives, scope, deliverables, resource requirements and timeline. Define roles and responsibilities; and engage and align key stakeholders.**:
- ** Manage the project to drive progress against key milestones showing adaptability to change. Orchestrate routine meetings and communication; facilitate stakeholder involvement; identify and escalate roadblocks as required.**:
- ** Perform high quality analyses using data and insights from diverse sources. Connect the dots to structure a data-driven narrative and exercise business acumen to recommend bold and actionable solutions at the market level.**:
- ** Represent the outcomes in clear and impactful communication through powerpoint / word as appropriate.**:
- ** Orchestrate Franchise business planning processes (~20% of time allocated)**:Throughout the year there are two major planning cycles with short to mid-term focus - the Annual Business Plan (ABP) that focuses on the next 12-18 month horizon; and the Long-Range Plan with a three-year outlook. These processes are critical to aligning local strategic execution with TCCC's global growth objectives. To help this, you will**:
- ** Develop and align local planning timelines to deliver to OU planning milestones; with consideration for local bottler timelines and customer range review cycles.**:
- ** Coordinate routines to support the local planning process, laddering into OU routines. Manage involvement across multiple stakeholders and business functions.**:
- ** Monitor business trends/outlooks and gather competitive intelligence to contribute to target setting and strategic business planning discussions with leadership.**:
- ** Partner with Franchise to support cross-system strategy and process alignment with Bottlers at local level.**:
- ** Lead the South Franchise monthly performance routine (~15% of time allocated)**:Every month the Franchise Strategy Managers go through a monthly business review (MBR) process to understand performance and share findings with the Franchise Unit and OULT. To lead this, you will**:
- ** Study business performance data at the end of every month to diagnose key drivers and drainers across MTD, QTD and YTD periods.**:
- ** Orchestrate the monthly South performance meeting with the Franchise Unit team to present the MBR document and align on adjustments to executional strategies.**:
- ** Share the MBR document as a pre-read with the OULT ahead of the ASP MBR meeting; and attend the meeting to support the Franchise VP in the performance discussion.**:
- ** Support the South Franchise Senior manage with consolidation of routine reports for ASP & CCEP T2T forums.**:
- ** Contribute thought leadership and strategic consult (~15% of time allocated)**:Represent the voice of strategy in the local markets by providing thought-leadership proactively on topics that are relevant and where your contribution can add value.**:
- ** Leverage access to the 'network' to source learnings and best practices from other markets. Import and export good ideas both locally, in the OU and globally.**:
- ** Stay abreast of business trends/outlooks and gather competitive intelligence to contribute to target setting and strategic business planning discussions with leadership.**:
- ** Perform high quality analyses as required using data and insights from a wide variety of sources, including but not limited to, scan / panel / ex-factory databases, shopper insights platforms (e.g Quantium) and credible market research providers (e.g Mintel, Global Data etc.).**:
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- ** +8 years of Business and/or functional experience in Operation/Strategy related areas**
