Despite clocking an outer regional MM4 RA Code 3 for Doctors, Airlie Beach is well known as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, the heart of the Whitsundays Region, and is known for its beautiful scenery and vibrant community. With direct access to the Whitsunday Islands, this location offers a high patient-to-doctor ratio, significant financial rewards, and exclusive rural incentives designed to fast‑track your future wealth. A heavily reduced Moratorium time allows you to return to the metropolitan grid whenever you wish. The role does not require teaching or supervision unless you wish to offer these services.
Suitable candidates will enjoy living in a regional/rural beachside community with a pleasant patient base. A FACRRM with rural and ED skills is highly regarded, though not essential. Schools such as Whitsundays Christian College, St Catherine's Catholic College (Prep‑Year 12), and Proserpine/Cannonvale State Schools are recommended for families.
