Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Architect to take ownership of projects from post-DA approval through to completion, working within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for managing and delivering construction documentation for large-scale residential and mixed-use developments. You will lead projects through all stages post-DA approval, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage external architects and consultants to refine design, finishes, layouts, and detailing.
* Identify and implement value engineering opportunities.
* Oversee in-house documentation teams to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, builders, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Ensure projects are costed accurately at all design stages and delivered on budget.
* Maintain compliance with planning controls (NSW & QLD), BCA/NCC, and relevant Australian Standards.
* Attend and document site meetings as required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum 8 years post-graduate architectural experience.
* Proven experience in senior project leadership roles
* Registered Architect - Highly regarded
* Strong background in multi-residential and mixed-use projects.
* Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Photoshop and InDesign.
* Excellent understanding of planning controls, NCC, Australian Standards, and the Design & Building Practitioners Act.
* Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Collaborative, professional, and detail-oriented approach.
