Job Description
-Reporting to the Surface Infrastructure Superintendent, the Surface Electrical Coordinator is responsible for leading a team of surface electrical personnel to complete statutory and general work orders on the mine.
* Coordinate and lead a team to ensure Work Order compliance weekly and yearly including planning and execution.
* Ensure projects are completed to time and budget, and to high quality standards.
* Provide technical leadership for the surface electrical maintenance department.
* Plan for the electrical equipment and systems to operate in demanding conditions at the mine site.
* Assist the Surface Infrastructure Superintendent by planning and providing engineering support for the production section
* Installation, design, construction and commissioning electrical equipment and systems.
* installing, testing, maintaining, repairing, and reporting on all electrical equipment used at the mine.
* Provide trouble-shooting support to improve operational efficiencies.
* Work cooperatively with other departments, project managers, supply chain and mine management to optimize production, reduce costs, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
* -Current Electrical License or Electrical tertiary qualification
* Electrical and Underground Mining Trade experience (advantageous)
* S11, S123 and G2
* Demonstrated experience in delivering key projects
* Display ability to be able to collaborate and communicate across different levels of the organization
* Project management skills to ensure the overhaul is delivered to scope, on time and within budget
* Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* Experience with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems
* An intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office suite of program
