About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Stockperson to join our team at our Biloela processing plant to assist with the day-to-day operations of holding pens and stock movement.
Other role responsibilities include:
- General low-stress cattle handling
- Drafting
- Monitoring animal welfare
- Arrival of cattle
- Maintaining accurate daily records, such as data entry (training provided).
About You
An enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in working in the meat processing industry and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Low stress stock handling practice experience
- Robust communication skills and ability to foster a team environment
- Energetic and strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions
- Be able to work autonomously
- Be able to follow and comply with workplace policies and procedures
- High attention to detail
- Q-fever vaccinated (or willingness to get).
