Located onsite in the Bowen-Basin, this role is responsible for providing first-class housekeeping services to Civeo guests, ensuring rooms are thoroughly cleaned, well stocked, and maintained to Civeo's quality standards.
This is a permanent full-time position on a 9:5 roster (9 days living on site and 5 days at home for what matters most). Candidates are welcome to work from our local communities, drive from nearby towns, catch our free staff bus from Mackay, or use our flight option from Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and supervise Housekeepers ensuring brand standards, quality assurance, and service excellence are consistently achieved.
* You will be leading two housekeeping teams of roughly 10 staff each to deliver exceptional housekeeping experience.
* Service rooms daily or weekly as scheduled and complete full room services for new arrivals.
* Report on maintenance and room quality issues to Village Management.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure safe work practices are followed.
* Contribute to the safety culture by applying safe work practices and reporting hazards or near misses.
* Participate in audits, training, meetings, and process improvement initiatives.
Our Moranbah and Dysart villages house residents and guests, where we service the housekeeping needs of their accommodation.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in housekeeping within commercial or hotel accommodation.
* Experience supervising a small team.
* Knowledge of cleaning standards, hygiene protocols, and housekeeping equipment.
* Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to interpret workplace documentation, safety rules, and procedures.
* Unlimited working rights within Australia (sponsorship NOT available)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including alcohol and drug screening)
* Current Driver's Licence
