About this role
The Executive Director, Strategic Infrastructure Services is responsible for collaborating across government to determine strategies that meet enrolment demand across the State. As a key advisor to the Deputy Secretary, School Infrastructure, this critical role facilitates efficient and effective delivery of school infrastructure projects to meet the needs of a growing population and support achievement of outcomes under the Department's Plan for NSW Public Education.
This role requires knowledge of where and when infrastructure services are required to support public education, by understanding community, economics, and government factors. It demands knowledge and understanding of what is needed at the school level, ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across government, and complexities of working with large-scale projects.
You will foster a culture of high performance and collaboration with a view to continuous improvement while demonstrating sound time, people, financial, and risk management.
