The Role
Lithgow City Council is seeking Casual Lifeguards to fill a vacant position.
Responsibilities include maintaining surveillance of patrons, ensuring facility cleanliness, and implementing emergency response plans.
* Maintain constant supervision of patrons using the facility
* Ensure centre maintenance, cleanliness, and aesthetics
* Carry out duties in accordance with the Centre's Operations Manual
* Implement emergency response plans and provide first aid when necessary
* Be responsible for equipment maintenance and setup/packaging
* Ensure children under 5 are always within arm's reach of a parent or guardian
Applicants must possess current Senior First Aid and Pool Lifeguard Certificates, as well as demonstrated commitment to WHS procedures and integrity/honesty principles.
Preferred applicants will undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, functional assessment, and reference checks.
About You
We seek individuals with experience in lifeguarding, first aid, and aquatic services, as well as those who can work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Benefits include casual rates between $19.79 and $41.45 per hour, depending on applicant age, skills, qualifications, and experience.
