We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Support Administrator to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to department managers while specialising in facilities, office management, print, and travel coordination. You'll play a vital part in ensuring smooth office operations across our ACT and Perth locations, contributing to a functional, secure, and well-equipped workplace for employees and executives.
Primary Duties:
Oversee facility management for the Office, ensuring the workplace remains well-maintained and functional.
Handle maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Manage office supply inventories and procure additional supplies as needed to maintain a productive environment.
Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, sorting and distributing to the relevant individuals.
Answer and screen telephone calls, resolving inquiries or escalating complex queries as necessary.
Manage and coordinate electronic diaries, scheduling commitments to ensure optimal time efficiency for department managers, including arranging domestic and international travel itineraries.
Provide secretarial and administrative support independently or with limited guidance.
Maintain an effective filing system, both electronic and hard copy, to ensure easy access to documents.
Ensure smooth communication flow between internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and distribute management reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases as required.
Experience and Skills:
Proven administrative experience in a similar role or customer service position.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook for calendar management.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of organisation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
A positive, 'can-do' attitude and flexibility to take on ad-hoc tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage pressure effectively.
Professional and polished presentation.
Education and Qualifications:
Cert IV or Diploma in Business (or a similar course) preferred.
This role requires Australian citizenship for compliance with company and security policies. Only Australian citizens are eligible to apply.
