As Cyber Security Engineering Lead, you will provide leadership and technical guidance to ensure cyber security services are effectively designed, created and implemented across the NSW Health system.
Your work will strengthen the resilience of critical platforms that support patient care, resulting in safe and secure systems administration functions and environments. You will also help protect data and services against internal and external cyber security threats, ensuring enterprise-wide cyber security services align with the business needs and strategic objectives of eHealth NSW.
What you'll focus on
* Develop and execute the Cyber Security engineering strategic vision and roadmap for the cyber security services of NSW Health.
* Evaluate and assess security methodologies and toolsets to identify and implement effective solutions.
* Lead the engagement of Cyber Security engineering across the NSW health system.
* Identify risks and issues associated with technologies and emerging threats and provide technical assurance, and initiatives to facilitate remediation and mitigation strategies.

About You
You'll be someone who:
* Has tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in Cyber Security.
* Has extensive experience implementing cyber security controls and frameworks in large ICT organisations.
* Demonstrates strong understanding of ISO/IEC 27001, Protective Security Policy Framework, and NSW Cyber Security Policy.
* Possesses excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Lead and manage a technical team of cyber security professionals.
