Vegetable Garden Assistant
This is a volunteer opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and monitoring of our community vegetable garden.
* Plant seasonal produce to ensure continuous harvesting.
* Weed regularly to maintain garden health.
* Pick produce at optimal ripeness.
* Display fresh produce on a food share table for community access.
* Prepare produce for regular food relief collection days.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Demonstrate knowledge of seasonal planting and harvesting techniques.
* Be registered as a Volunteer with local authorities.
* Hold current background checks and Working with Children clearance.
Provided Equipment:
* Gardening gloves.
* Gardening tools.
* Mask.
* Sunscreen and protective clothing.
Personal Equipment:
* Comfortable closed shoes.
* Reliable gardening attire.
