About the Role
At our organisation, we support older South Australians to live independently with dignity and cultural respect. As an In-Home Care Assistant, you will provide companionship and social engagement while performing household tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and transport clients to appointments or outings.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Perform household tasks – vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, meal prep
o Provide companionship and social engagement
o Transport clients to appointments or outings (if required)
o Care Planning: Follow care plans and support client goals
o Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in client health or wellbeing
* Personal Qualities:
o A compassionate and caring attitude towards older adults
o The ability to work independently and as part of a team
